How safe is your job

Are you a young person in the 21st century and you are wondering how safe your job is? Well, you are not alone. Do you think there is too much competition for you in the digital marketing world, well, you are not alone? What is worse is that automation and artificial intelligence is now also gunning for your job, well you are not alone. All these fears are completely rational but that does not make them at all legitimate.

In this article we would be looking at two different areas, the first is digital marketing and the second is automation, to explain why the young at heart should not be scared of outsourcing.

Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is one of the ways that businesses employ today to build and increase their returns. It is at the heart of outsourcing and many people worry that it will cost them their job as outsourcing employs cheaper skilled labor. But for the young at heart this can mean two things. The first is that they can get into the outsourcing business themselves. This way they get to earn more by having a larger number of clients who would desire to use their services. The second thing is that they can decide to get more specialized skills and as such go after the higher paying jobs that most businesses would not be comfortable outsourcing. So either way, with outsourcing, we all can win if we apply our skill set appropriately.

Automation

With artificial intelligence the fears that most young people have is clear. Robotic automation seems to be the next generation stuff. A lot of companies are willing to invest into it because of the expeditious nature it proposes to handle human tasks and with almost zero error. This in itself makes it a worthwhile investment. But like with everything technology has brought into our world today, there is also a resultant increase in jobs, howbeit, of a different niche. We all know that there is no way this robots will take over the entire job description of humans and even at that, their function would be based on their initial programming which has a lot to do with humans as well.

What is more is that, the maintenance of these robots, installing the software and incorporating their use into any company would require humans. This job is most times outsourced by businesses with benefits to both the outsourcing team and the business itself.
