According to a recent publication, “with all the fights and increased effort to kill outsourcing, and especially offshoring, it appears it’s not possible to kick out this viable business solution.” With all the hullabaloos and the rage against sending jobs overseas.
Offshore outsourcing seems to be gaining more roots downwards and producing visible and highly desirable results.
In fact, it may surprise you to know that it’s even the real big names in the business terrain that have refused to let go of offshoring. Well, when you wear their shoes, you know how hard it pinches if a huge part of your profit is going into expensive employee maintenance.
“Expensive employee maintenance?”
“Let’s call a spade what it is – a spade!”, said one of the major advocates of offshore hiring. “If a significant percentage of what you generate as yearly profit is expended on employees who are not offering better result than their counterparts abroad…it really sucks!”
Some of the big players in the business world, especially the tech world even stated categorically that “their employees back at home do far little compared to their counterparts in China, India or Philippine, yet they demand for outrageous remuneration, while their fellows offshore gladly accept a decent pay without lowering quality.”
Even with all of President Trump’s campaign to bring jobs back home, those that are wearing the shoes are being sensible about the whole outcry. Well, after all, they don’t take all the jobs abroad. There are still some tasks left at home for citizens.
But, the truth remains that businesses will channel effort and resources where they will cut back cost significantly in order to increase profit generation. And, this is what offshore outsourcing has done for big, medium and small businesses alike.
So, saying you want to take out offshoring out of the business terrain is like putting a knife by the throat of business owners. In fact, this may lead to a huge collapse of many businesses!
Therefore, you shouldn’t wonder when you see outsourcing gaining more root instead of fading away from the business world. It’s an evergreen business solution that has come to stay.
It’s better to look for other ways to augment jobs at home instead of trying to kick out offshore outsourcing. After all, companies still outsource to vendors at home – they still keep some of the jobs at home.
