What is a Membership Site?
A membership site is a private website that allows access only to members who voluntarily sign up. There’s usually an incentive for prospects to be a part of a membership site; such as a free gift, a newsletter or exclusive content. Members are sometimes given the opportunity to interact, making the site even more valuable.
A membership site actually offers a win-win arrangement: the member benefits by gaining access to the private site and the company or individual who runs the site gains access to contact information to continue to deepen the relationship and hopefully sell products and services.

These tend to require higher end investments.
For instance, some membership sites teach courses with constantly changing subject matter; information that must be current if it is to have value. These membership sites would require a heftier investment.

In addition to the options you mentioned, there are options to earning recurring income on a monthly basis by offering paid support, sell consulting packages or even a piece of content that can be valuable such as: case studies/ “behind the scenes” information/ interviews with experts in your niche etc.
